Meet the Visionary Behind the Art.
Rain Kloss is an artist, yoga enthusiast, and animal lover from the Pacific Northwest. With a background in primate studies and a passion for all creatures (even the "icky" ones), her journey has been shaped by resilience through multiple cancer diagnoses and life’s challenges. Painting and yoga became her saving graces, allowing her to channel her love for the darker, spookier side of life into her art and practice. Rain’s passions include her family, animals, Ireland, and embracing life’s beauty in unexpected places.
Unique Art For All Humans
I believe that art is for everyone and that it Transends the boundaries placed on us by a capitalist society. I believe firmly that Black Lives Matter, that Palestine will be free. That gender is fluid and moving, trans women are women and trans men are men. I believe that freedom of religion means any religion at all. Please let us work together to create a place of love and kindness for all. If these things bother you at all, feel free to move along with love and peace.

Services - Raining Cats and Dogs
Welcome to Raining Cats and Dogs! I’m Rain, and for 25 years I’ve devoted my life to helping animals thrive. With a degree in animal behavior and a background in veterinary medicine, grooming, and animal husbandry, I blend science, skill, and heart in everything I do. I share my world with one beloved dog and three kitty nieces and nephews, and I bring the same attentive, patient care to your pets as I do to my own. My passions—animals, art, Ireland, and yoga—shape a calm, creative approach that puts pets at ease and gives people peace of mind. I’m delighted you’re here and can’t wait to meet your best friend.

Cat Drop in Visit
$20/ visit $5 for each additional cat
Heading out of town? We all know how stressful taking your cat to the kennel is. My cat drop-in service keeps your feline comfortable at home. Each visit includes fresh food and water, a thorough litter box scoop and tidy, and customized attention based on your cat’s needs—playtime with toys, gentle engagement, or quiet companionship for shyer kitties. I follow your routine and care instructions closely, keep an eye on behavior and home safety, and provide a quick update with a photo after every visit for peace of mind. Reliable, stress-free care so you can travel confidently.

Dog drop in Visit
$25/ visit $8 for each aditional dog
Heading out overnight or for the weekend? My drop-in visits keep your dog comfortable at home with fresh food and water, a relaxed potty break, a few enriching games, and plenty of snuggles. Because dogs shouldn’t be left alone all day or confined to kennels, I require a minimum of two visits per day for out-of-town clients to ensure proper care, companionship, and supervision. Each visit follows your pup’s routine, and I’ll send a quick update so you can travel with peace of mind.

Dog Walking
20/ 30 minute walk $10 for additional dog
On this relaxed 30-minute walk, your dog sets the pace and chooses the sniff-spots, turning the outing into a scent-led “sniffari.” We keep a loose leash and offer plenty of sniff breaks in grass, trees, and along different textures, then add enrichment with quick “find it” scatter games, calm check-ins, and simple cues. Natural obstacles become mini challenges—two paws up on a rock, weaving around a tree, a small hop over a curb—to build confidence and coordination. We pause to watch the world at a comfortable distance, rewarding polite greetings and calm behavior. A water break and gentle cool-down finish the stroll, sending your dog home relaxed, enriched, and happily tired
